For the last few months, I’ve been quietly purchasing trading cards for a sport I never watch. Here’s a picture:

One football player specifically peaked my interest. They call him “Baby Brady.”
Drake Maye is only 23 years old. He’s the new Tom Brady quarterback of the New England Patriots. The institutions LOVE him.
Today, Drake Maye won a major championship against the Brancos and is headed to the Super Bowl. That’s not what’s interesting. What’s interesting is that I knew what was coming ahead of time.
I even wrote this:
When the Patriots go to the Super Bowl with Drake Maye.
I want you to go look at my old tweets and ask how I knew.
Ps: I didn’t even watch the game. 😉

So What’s Up With Drake Maye?
I first heard his name originally while sitting in several sports card shops. Lots of people were watching him out of interest.
But that’s not what interested me! What really interested me was the press coverage of him!
When sports companies and news publications start hyping a player, it’s time to start paying attention.
I truly believe the world is a stage. You can predict things by watching patterns play out and be right most of the time.
So who talked about Drake Maye? Everyone.
Daily Mail. Sports card companies hyping new cards. Sports card groups on Facebook. Many of it was likely artificial.
I can’t prove any of this. But that’s not the point.
Dr Steve Turley On The 2024 Super Bowl
I’m reminded of an interesting show on Dr. Steve Turley’s YouTube channel.
Steve said that Kansas City Chief’s 2024 Super Bowl victory seemed almost “scripted.”
Why? What made him think that?
Press coverage of Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce (which is still going). The media was in love with the Chiefs.
They put Taylor Swift on the cover of Time Magazine while hyping the Chiefs at the same time. All the news coverage was in one direction.
Before The Game Was Even Over
To create a written record of my prediction, I went to Twitter to voice it.
An hour before the game was even over, I took to Twitter:
DRAKE MAYE IS GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL.
The game isn’t even over yet.
But I’m pretty sure I know how this ends. 👀

Then I wanted to leave a written record of what I learned from Dr. Steve Turley.
So I wrote this for good measure:
@DrTurleyTalks’s once called out the obviousness of the Kansas City Chief’s Super Bowl win just based on press coverage of their quarterback.
The same thing is happening here.
The Patriots will go to the Super Bowl.

Mind you, I literally never watched the game. That’s not what’s important. What was important was looking at the right signals on the internet.
The Super Bowl is here. Now it’s time to see who will win.
Probably Patriots.
Mind you, I know literally nothing except press coverage. I never even watched one game.
I just assume institutions have insider knowledge. Which one would hope they do! Institutions are worthless if they don’t know something we don’t. That’s why they exist.
It’s easy to read the room if you try.
