Great Literature Died At The Hands Of A Machine

Lucky me. I grew up before great books died.

Now machines think. No more real intelligence. It’s artificial now. A cheap imitation.

The more words you have, the less they’re worth. Inflation. Words can’t escape economics just like you can’t escape the robots. They’re already here.

Mere words won’t allow you to escape obscurity anymore. Not everyone can be exceptional at once.

It’s Great If You’re Already On Top

Adam Smith put down Wealth of Nations on paper. Publish it today and no one would read it. Too many pages. Must be AI. The market has decided. The hand wasn’t invisible after all.

Great thinkers can’t climb with words alone anymore. Too structured? Then AI wrote it. Not structured? Then AI would be better.

The goalposts moved. Words are cheap now. Supplemental. Not the whole meal.

Nothing great comes easily. Now it’s too easy.

AI makes it harder to stand out. Unless you’re already known. Then it makes it easier to stay in.

It’s easier to look smart when people think you already are. It’s like makeup for the brain of the rich and famous.

The red tape of intellect got cut by technology. Now it’s just a formality. Dress up for the messed up.

Christ said winners climb higher. Losers lose harder. That’s nature. AI makes it stick even more.

Not a problem if you’re already known. Could be a problem if you thought your words mattered. Now they’re all equally worthless.
